The Orange Wine Region unveils cheeky new brand identity

The Orange Wine Region has announced a new brand identity and logo, with the tag line ‘A Drop Above’. For many years, Orange has been working to solidify its position as one of the country’s premier wine tourism destinations. With the introduction of the brand tagline, ‘A Drop Above’, the region is setting its sights on being recognised among Australia’s best.

“‘A Drop Above’ perfectly encapsulates the essence of our high-altitude wine region in Orange, NSW,” said the Orange Region Vignerons Association.

 

The regional association said the cheeky new tagline plays on “the literal and figurative superiority” of its wines

 

“This tagline plays on the literal and figurative superiority of our wines. Situated at a higher elevation, our vineyards benefit from unique climatic conditions that contribute to the complexity and quality of our wines.”

The phrase intends to cheekily assert that the wines are of superior quality and suggest that each sip offers something extra—a distinctive character and excellence that sets the Orange region apart.

“This dual meaning of elevation and excellence provides a clever and memorable anchor for Orange, appealing to wine enthusiasts who appreciate both the uniqueness of our terroir and the premium quality of our collective offerings,” said the association.

“This branding will be used across all our marketing, whether it’s the Orange Wine Show and festival or when we hit the highway and take Orange to Sydney to meet our consumers.

“We believe that this branding will help in relaunching our region and provide a cohesive platform for all our producers to use.”

The association said the new branding reflects the region’s commitment to elevating the Orange Wine Region as a top destination for wine lovers, encapsulating the quality, passion, and unique experiences that define the region, and offering visitors more than just a taste of exceptional wines.

“As we introduce this new chapter in the story of the Orange Wine Region, we invite wine enthusiasts and travellers alike to discover what sets us apart. With every visit, we promise an experience that goes beyond the ordinary—one that will linger in your memory long after the last sip. At the heart of New South Wales lies the Orange Wine Region, a ‘village’ where the earth meets the sky in a harmonious dance, crafting wines that are truly “A Drop Above.” Our brand is more than just a name; it is a testament to the unique essence of our high-altitude vineyards and the superior quality of the wines they produce.
