The Australian Grape and Wine Authority is a new wine statutory authority created to undertake the functions previously carried out by the Grape and Wine Research and Development Corporation (GWRDC) and the Wine Australia Corporation (Wine Australia).
The new authority will commence on 1 July 2014.
Applications are sought for part-time, non-executive directors of the authority for a term of up to three years.
To be considered for these part time positions, applicants must be able to demonstrate expertise in one or more of the following fields:
- grape growing
- winemaking
- marketing
- technology
- human resource management
- communications
- strategic management
- finance
- administration or research and development
- law
- business management and administration
- government policy processes and public administration.
Applicants are asked to provide career and personal details (not more than 4 pages including C.V.), expanding on those areas from the above list where you have expertise and experience.
