Grapegrower & Winemaker conducts comprehensive Australian Closure Survey

The Australian & New Zealand Grapegrower & Winemaker is conducting its first Australian Closure Survey.

The survey aims to deliver the latest trends and figures on the type of closures being used on wine bottled in Australia, for both the domestic and export markets.

Additional questions will provide a snapshot of closure-use according to price points, in both red and white varieties, and industry perceptions of the different closure types, according to price, bottling line performance, product performance, consumer acceptance and perceived environmental impacts.

A news report highlighting the key responses and outcomes will be published in an upcoming edition of the Grapegrower & Winemaker with all participants receiving access to full results (excluding any identifying or confidential information).

As the results of the survey will provide wineries with critical benchmarking information and invaluable independent feedback on closure performance, all wineries are encouraged to participate.

Personal and individual winery details will not be printed or passed on to other participants or third parties.
