Entries now open for International Cool Climate Wine Show

The International Cool Climate Wine Show is now taking entries for this year’s event.

Now in its 15^th successful year, the event is recognised as one of the best boutique wine shows in Australia.

Entries close on Wednesday 23 April 2014 and wines are due on Wednesday 7 May 2014.

Judging will take place on Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th May at the Mornington Racing Club, with the public tasting on the new night of Tuesday 27th.

The Awards Presentation Dinner will be at the Mornington Race Club on Friday 30th May.

Important elements of the wine show:

The Master Class – proudly sponsored by the Mornington Peninsula Shire, this event will be held on Monday 2^nd June, at Southbank, Melbourne. The Master Class provides a unique opportunity for the wine trade to taste Gold medal winning wines and will again be led by Meg Brodtmann MW – please contact Caroline Dickenson on 0428 102936 or via email [email protected] if you wish to attend. Spaces are limited and by invite only.
The Public Tasting – proudly sponsored by Luigi Bormioli this event will be held on the evening of Tuesday 27th May at Mornington Race Club. This tasting offers an excellent educational opportunity for those in the industry and also the general public, to compare over 600 entries from cool climate regions. The Awards Presentation Dinner – held on Friday 30^th May at Mornington Race Club, co-sponsored by Hillview Quarries, Peninsula Bulk Meats and Ingham, and presented by Wise Choice Catering. Choose from a selection of wines from the competition, that will be available to enjoy throughout your dinner service, with a selection of sparkling wines served with canapés upon arrival. The dinner is $120 per head ($110 for entrants). A gourmet local tasting platter plus a sumptuous 3 course meal is included in the price, as well as non-alcohol beverages, your selection of wines and tea and coffee.
