The wineries on pour:
- Balnaves of Coonawarra
- Bremerton
- Byrne Vineyards
- Claymore Wines
- Dog Ridge
- Eight at the Gate
- Golding Wines
- Haan Estate, Heartland
- Kaesler
- Kay Brothers
- Nangkita, Pauletts
- Schwarz Wine Company
- The Pawn Wine Co
- Two Hands Wines
- XO Wine Co
“We look forward to showcasing our estate grown wines and a collection of both spring flavours and deep rich reds such as The Love Child Viognier; bursting with honey suckle and cinnamon and our famous The Bogan Shiraz which fills the glass with notes of dark fruits,” said Emma Gallagher, cellar door manager at Kaesler.
From Wrattonbully in the state’s South East, Eight at the Gate Wines, plans to pour its latest Sparkling Blanc, along with its crowd pleasing Pinot Gris and a couple of its latest release reds from the ‘goldilocks’ vintage of 2021.
The event will feature live music and a pelican feeding experience, and ticket holders will also receive two wine tasting tokens, an Adelaide, a Great Wine Capitals wine glass and a charcuterie box.
After the tasting tokens have been used, wine can be purchased directly from the wineries by the flight, half-glass, glass or bottle, and bottles can be packaged and taken home.
Presented by the South Australian Wine Industry Association, Wine Debut will be held on the central lawns inside the Adelaide Zoo on Friday, 11 October, from 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm.
