Winetitles honoured with WISA chairman’s award

For more than 30 years, Winetitles has been dedicated to providing quality, solutions-based publications to members of the Australian wine industry.

This dedication was honoured last night when Winetitles was awarded with the Wine Industry Suppliers Australia (WISA) chairman’s award at the National Wine and Grape Centre.

Now in its 11th year, the WISA awards aim to recognise the important role suppliers play in ensuring the continued dynamic growth of the Australian wine industry.

Adelaide-based company, Winetitles produces a range of publications specific to the Australian and New Zealand wine industry.

This includes the Australian and New Zealand Grapegrower & Winemaker magazine (G&W), the Wine & Viticulture Journal (WVJ) and the Australian and New Zealand Wine Industry Directory – often referred to as the ‘wine bible’ of the industry.

Winetitles general manager Elizabeth Bouzoudis was excited by the award-win, which she said was testament to the company’s loyalty and commitment to the wine industry.

“I was absolutely delighted to hear that Winetitles had been selected given all the hard work, loyalty and commitment of our staff over the years,” Bouzoudis said.

“Winetitles is constantly striving to produce timely, relevant and solutions-based content that also reports and analyses current and future develops of the wine industry.

“Looking back over the history of Winetitles that goes back over 30 years, there’s certainly a lot we have achieved and contributed to the wine industry during this time.”

In addition to G&W and WVJ, Winetitles is the service provider of e-newsletter, Daily Wine News, and is home to the industry portal website, www.winebiz.com.au.

The company, a division of Provincial Press Group, also publishes a number of books specific to the Australian wine industry.

Also taking home top honours at last night’s awards ceremony was leading glass packaging supplier, OI Australia, who won the WISA Supplier of the Year and Innovation Award.

The Ocloc boys, Ocvitti, walked away with the WISA Export Award while JJC Engineering won the WISA Environment and Sustainability Award.

WISA was established in 2000 to assist members with in-market development, export and overseas market development and advice. More about WISA and the awards night will be published in the November issue of the Grapegrower & Winemaker.
