Treasury Wine Estates Fleet Rotation Auction

Manheim, Australia’s leading automotive and industrial auctioneer is conducting a major auction in Elmore, on behalf of Treasury Wine Estates on Wednesday the 29th of May.

The fleet rotation auction will feature a wide range of viticultural and agricultural equipment and will be held onsite at the Elmore Events Centre (48 Rosaia Road) at 10.30am. Sourced from the Treasury Wine Estates fleet, machinery such as tractors, quad bikes and a large variety of vineyard equipment will be available for sale.

“Treasury Wine Estates equipment is highly sought after, as buyers know they are bidding on well cared for and well maintained items”, said Wayne Thompson, Manheim’s General Manager for Victoria.

“Over the years the Treasury Wine Estates fleet has been an important source of second hand specialised equipment for the wine industry, providing an opportunity for buyers to purchase equipment which they otherwise may not be able to afford.”

Treasury Wine Estates is a global premium wine business with a leading international portfolio of new world wines across more than 80 wine brands. The company owns and operates wine production facilities in Australia, the United States, New Zealand and Italy. With more than 11,000 hectares of vineyards across the globe and over 9,000 ha in Australia, Treasury Wine Estates understands and takes great care in selecting and maintaining the company’s vehicle fleet.

The wide variety of equipment on offer will no doubt prove popular amongst interested buyers. Of particular note are the 30 plus tractors on offer with low hours, from respected brands such as John Deere, Fendt and New Holland. A full listing of all items can be found on Manheim’s website (manheim.com.au) which features an online catalogue with detailed information and photographs of all items.

Members of the public will be welcome to inspect all auction items on Tuesday May 28 from 10am to 4pm and from 8am on the morning of the auction itself. Friendly and professional Manheim staff will be on hand to assist with any enquiries and answer any questions about how to bid at the auction.

Manheim understands that some people may be unable to attend a mid-week auction and that the equipment on offer will also have strong interstate and overseas appeal. As such the auction will be ‘Simulcast’ online to allow these buyers to see and hear the physical auction via the web. Simulcast on the internet using video streaming technology, registered members can participate in the auction from the comfort of their home or office anywhere in the country and easily make a purchase online.

Treasury Wine Estates has complied with both Phylloxera hygiene protocols and the various State Plant Health Certification processes to move plant and equipment to the auction site or online in situ location. Treasury Wine Estates advises purchasers to ensure compliance with State Plant Health Regulations upon movement of purchased plant and equipment (details available on request).
