Cool-climate producer Devil’s Corner is using a different kind of premium product to draw in visitors to its cellar door in Tasmania’s off season.
The winery is offering guests experiences such as its ‘Moulting Lagoon Adventure’, which includes both a behind-the-scenes vineyard tour and hands-on oyster shucking, paired with Devil’s Corner wines, of course.

Key to this experience is the winery’s partnership with local seafood purveyor The Fishers. Based at the Devil’s Corner cellar door, The Fishers deliver fresh, seasonal seafood—often harvested within kilometres of the vineyard—to pair with the cool-climate wines.

“Whether it’s freshly shucked Freycinet oysters or sustainably caught local fish, The Fishers help create the perfect expression of land and sea on every plate, beautifully complementing our wines,” said senior winemaker, Tom Wallace.
To further showcase its offerings, Devil’s Corner recently hosted a media famil, welcoming ten representatives from outlets such as Broadsheet, Urban List, Luxury Escapes, and Australian Traveller. The itinerary was designed to highlight the region’s best, including an adventure at Moulting Lagoon, a guided tasting in the Devil’s Den, and a starlit wine-paired dinner at Freycinet Lodge.
“This famil gave us the perfect opportunity to show key media what makes Devil’s Corner—and Tasmania—so special,” said Wallace. “From vineyard to table, we’re proud to offer premium wines and unforgettable experiences that capture the essence of this incredible place.”
