M.A.Silva Corks is growing rapidly and we are excited to announce that we have just launched our new local website!

M.A.Silva was established in 2008 as a collaboration between Mr Manuel Silva, the owner of M.A.Silva Cortiças Lda. and Mario Tavares.

Mario, who is originally from the same area as M.A.Silva Cortiças, in the north of Portugal, has been based in Australia since the early nineties. This background, along with over 15 years industry experience, has given Mario a comprehensive understanding of the wine industry and closures market in Australia, and for anyone who has met Mario, knows that he really does have a passion for cork! 

Our company imports high quality corks for still and sparkling wines and we process all batches in our facility based in the Hunter Valley wine region for distribution throughout Australia.

At M.A.Silva Corks our focus is on customer service and consistent quality supply, to bring the assurance and peace of mind needed for today’s winemakers.
