GroGuard Australia Pty Ltd was incorporated on the 23rd August 1990 to begin the manufacture and sale of the GroGuard VineGuard.

Graham Due originated the use of plastic tubes to protect newly planted grape vines in a trial on land near Euroa north of Melbourne in 1989.

This innovation of vineyard establishment led to the beginning of the “vine guard”. 25 years on, Graham continues to head GroGuard as Managing Director supplying Australian made GroGuard ZipSafe VineGuard’s to the wine industry.

Legendary for its ruggedness and reliability, with nearly 10 million GroGuard vine guards being sold, the GroGuard has increased the profitability of numerous new plantings.
