Pike & Joyce Wines, a collaboration between two South Australian families producing cool-climate wines, has announced The Wine Company as its new distributor for the Australian East Coast, effective March 1, 2025.
This change applies to the states of Queensland, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, and Victoria, while Pike & Joyce Wines will continue to be represented by Options Wine Merchants in South Australia and David Mullen Wine Agency in Western Australia.
The move marks a new chapter for Pike & Joyce Wines as they transition from their long-standing partnership with Deja Vu Wine Co., who represented the brand for over 10 years.
“We would like to sincerely thank Deja Vu Wine Co. for their exceptional work in building the Pike & Joyce brand over the last decade,” said Jamie Pike, spokesperson for Pike & Joyce Wines. “Their efforts have been instrumental in establishing our presence on the East Coast, and we’ve greatly enjoyed working with their team.”
Michael Wilson, general manager at The Wine Company, expressed enthusiasm about the new partnership.
“We are excited to have such a well-respected Adelaide Hills family brand as part of our broader winery family,” said Wilson. “We had a gap in our range for purely Adelaide Hills region, and Pike & Joyce will fill this gap beautifully.”
The appointment of The Wine Company is part of Pike & Joyce Wines’ strategy to strengthen its foothold in key East Coast markets and to continue offering premium service to its trade partners and consumers.
“We are thrilled to begin this new partnership with The Wine Company,” Pike continued. “Their deep understanding of the Australian wine market and commitment to quality make them an ideal partner to take our brand forward.”
Pike & Joyce Wines, established in 1998, remains focused on crafting wines that showcase the terroir of Lenswood in the Adelaide Hills. Its portfolio includes cool-climate varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, and Shiraz.
