Ferm Assist and Ferm Boost – available from E.E. Muir & Sons P/L

Ferm Assist is a customised blend of yeast nutrients and enzyme specifically formulated to increase yeast activity during fermentation. The Ferm Assist is unique as it contains a specialised protease enzyme which breaks down larger proteins to easily assimilable peptides and amino acids. This helps the yeast gain easy access to multiple sources of Yeast Available Nitrogen (YAN) as well as minerals and vitamins necessary for good yeast viability. Together this helps prevent stuck ferments and allows it to continue satisfactorily to completion.

Ferm Boost is specifically formulated to provide a plentiful supply of Yeast Available Nitrogen (YAN) and other micronutrients, vital in ensuring robust growth of yeast at the start of fermentation. Ferm Boost contains gluten free inactivated yeast made from Bakers Cream Yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) that has been produced on molasses by non-alcoholic fermentation and then heat inactivated.
