As Darren Oemcke’s two year term as Wine Industry Suppliers Australia (WISA) chairman has come to an end, David Evans from Scholle Packaging was appointed as new chairman at yesterday’s WISA’s Annual General Meeting. Jordan Abbott from Moore Stephens replaced Robert Pelton as treasurer, new committee members included: Paula Edwards from Winegrapes Australia, Eddie Lane from Cold Logic, Belinda Hamlyn from Foote Francis and Kate Bickford from DW Fox Tucker Lawyers.

The new appointment of vice chair is pending.

The outgoing chairman and treasurer reports presented a positive review of 2015 following the success of WineTech 2015 and another well attended Supplier of the Year Awards.

As the national charity partner of the Leukaemia Foundation, WISA proudly presented a cheque for $5000 to the Leukaemia Foundation from funds raised from this year’s Supplier of the Year Awards.
