One of Victoria’s longest running and iconic wine festivals -the famed Rutherglen Winery Walkabout- hosted by Winemakers of Rutherglen has this year announced their much-anticipated event will take place online in the comfort of your own home on Saturday June 6, 2020.
In line with current Covid-19 social distancing restrictions- Winery Walkabout the House will for the first time in history- see Rutherglen wineries come together to showcase the very best of North-East Victoria’s celebrated wines with collection of online entertainment such as wine chats, masterclasses and live performances.
Rutherglen is the home of more than 160 years of winemaking history and the popular wine festival – which usually sees thousands of wine lovers flood through their gates to partake in the festivities– will bring Australia’s wine community together like never before; offering a reimagined online event allowing wine lovers all over the country access to the much loved event of Winery Walkabout The House.
Commencing from 12pm to 6pm, participants will be hosted by wine enthusiast and TV personality Tim Campbell and treated to a selection of entertainment throughout the day.
