Australian Inland Wine Show & National Moscato Challenge

The Australian Inland Wine Show is an event that showcases wines made from the ‘engine room’ of the Australian Wine Industry and is run by a small group of volunteers in Swan Hill. 2016 marks the 36th year this event has been held. Past and prospective entrants are encouraged to enter their wines that qualify under the regulations.

Wines Eligible:            Australian Inland Wine Show: Wines made with grapes sourced (85% or more) from the inland wine regions of Australia (Riverland SA, Murray-Darling VIC/NSW, Swan Hill VIC/NSW, Riverina NSW & Pericoota NSW)

Large Volume Class: Wines made with grapes sourced (51% or more) from the inland wine regions of Australia (Riverland SA, Murray-Darling VIC/NSW, Swan Hill VIC/NSW, Riverina NSW & Pericoota NSW) with a minimum make of 500,000 litres

National Moscato Challenge: Moscato style wines made from grapes of recognised muscat varieties (85% or more) from ANY wine region in Australia.

All wines are showcased at the Swan Hill Food & Wine Festival held in March.

A presentation of the National Moscato Challenge trophy is arranged with the winning recipient.
