Join us for the first edition of our Future of Drinking series, Regions Reimagined, as part of Australian Wine CONNECT.
Australia has an incredibly vast landscape with 65 wine regions, all of which are extremely important to the Australian wine story – and creative, boundary pushing winemakers from lesser-known regions are stealing the spotlight with media and gaining traction with international trade.
Renowned Australian journalist and presenter, Mike Bennie, will lead a series of conversations with some of Australia’s innovative winemakers from unique regions far from the Australian coastline, discussing how producers are planting Mediterranean varieties to combat changing climatic conditions and simultaneously staying relevant to evolving consumer tastes.
Then Christina Pickard, Contributing Editor for Wine Enthusiast Magazine and one of the most talented writers on the Australian category, will continue this discussion with Con-Greg Grigoriou (Delinquente), Tennille Chalmers (Chalmers) and Laura Carter (Unico Zelo).

Christina will lead the conversation on how these lesser-known regions and emerging varieties are finding success in the US market and appealing to the changing tastes of younger wine enthusiasts, followed by an an audience Q&A.
