Overview

Founded in 2000 to improve the quality of Riesling available to consumers and to increase consumer’s understanding and appreciation of Riesling, the Challenge is now the largest single varietal wine show in the Southern Hemisphere and one of the largest Riesling events in the world.

The Challenge attracts wines from most of the major Riesling producing regions of the world, judging across the many styles that this most versatile grape variety is able to produce.
