Thanks to processor enhancements, Danfoss Drives have managed to embed Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) / Predictive Maintenance features directly into the operating system of the Danfoss drive. The data available are for the client to monitor and store wherever they deem necessary, local, PLC, SCADA, ERP etc. These CBM features allow the Danfoss drive to provide 2 levels of warning for early detection, and an alarm option, hence reducing unscheduled downtime.

The client can determine which options they prefer for either or all of the functions available.

1. Motor winding insulation degradation monitoring
2. Overall Machine Vibration analysis
3. System Load Profile deviations.
