Renowned winemaker and film director, Francis Ford Coppola will join the likes of Robert Parker, Jancis Robinson and James Suckling at the Winefuture Conference later this year.
Coppola will speak about the recent announcement that his celebrated Rubicon Estate in Rutherford, Napa Valley will be known by its original name, Inglenook. The Estate will also exhibit at the Asia World Expo.
Winefuture will take place in Hong Kong from 6-8 November.
Experts from all over the world will attend the event and analyse the pressing issues, such as the economic crisis, consumption trends, drops in sales, the environment, labelling, packaging and emerging markets.
Coppola will also speak about his goal of restoring his 647 hectare estate into America’s greatest wine estate.
Coppola’s involvement in the wine industry dates back to 1975 when he purchased part of the Inglenook property.
He has received much praise for his Rubicon wine, the winery’s critically-acclaimed flagship red – a variety blend of Cabernet Sauvignon.
His estate also produces Zinfandel, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah and Blancaneaux – it’s flagship white.
