Entries now open for National Cool Climate Wine Show 2011

Australian cool-climate wine producers can now enter their wines in the National Cool Climate Wine Show for 2011.

Initially set up to provide a benchmark for Bathurst vignerons, the show is now available to wine producers from virtually all cool-climate regions in Australia.

This year, the event will be held at the Bathurst Showground Pavilion.

Judging the event is winemaker Tim Knappstein, Winewise editor Lester Jesberg, Witchmount Estate chief winemaker Stephen Goodwin, De luliis Wines winemaker Mike De iuliis, Coopers Creek Wines winemaker Simon Nunns and Tyrrell’s Wines chief winemaker Andrew Spinaze.

Key dates:

Wine Show Judging – 11th to 14th October
Entries Close – 2nd September
Exhibits must be received by 30th September
Public Tasting – 14th October
Wine Show Dinner – 15th October 

Tickets for the public tasting will be available at the Bathurst Visitors Information Centre.
