Calling Australia’s Pinot Blanc/Pinot Bianco producers

Australian wines made from the variety Pinot Blanc, or Pinot Bianco as it is known in Italy, will be the focus of the next regular tasting of the Wine & Viticulture Journal and entries are now being sought.

Pinot Blanc/Pinot Bianco is a small but emerging alternative variety in Australia which was described by Paul Drogemuller, from Paracombe Wines in the Adelaide Hills, as “delicious and versatile” when he wrote about the variety for the WVJ in 2018.

Producers of Pinot Blanc/Pinot Bianco are invited to enter their wines in the WVJ’s tasting by no later than Thursday 31 December. Samples must be received by no later than Friday 22 January 2021.

The results of the tasting will be published in the Autumn issue of the WVJ.
