Casama Group is a dynamic, entrepreneurial and fun privately owned leading Wine & Glassware distributor servicing both the on and off premise market. Established in 1963, Casama’s activities are focused on fine wine, being underpinned by two of the most prestigious and well regarded fine wine distribution entities in Australia, red+white and Mezzanine. We have offices throughout Australia and an affiliation with wine production companies in both South Australia and New Zealand. We employ upwards of 200 staff nationally with our head office being located at Abbotsford, Victoria.

We now have a magnificent opportunity for an experienced, energetic, self-motivated and talented sales person to represent our red+white portfolios in a region full of potential! The expected territory will encompass Sydney’s Eastern suburbs and the city.

As an Area Business Manager your primary focus will be to help drive sales within the designated territory, with a focus on the on premise trade. This role will be based out of our Neutral Bay office and will report directly into the State Manager.

The successful applicant will be responsible for (though not limited to):

• Reporting on sales, trade activity and competitor activity on a monthly basis
• Identifying new business opportunities
• Maintaining customer calls
• Developing yearly and monthly strategies for meeting and exceeding budgets
• Providing action plans and target lists for key brands in the portfolio

To be successful in your application you must have:

• Excellent communication skills & the ability to develop new opportunities that will result in sales growth
• Current full valid driver’s license
• Proven commercial acumen
• Key on premise experience
• Be career-focused and looking for progression
• At least 5 years’ experience in the wine industry essential
• Excellent wine knowledge
• A high level of presentation
• The ability to work autonomously and within a team
