Another cellar door to close temporarily

South Australia’s Wynns Coonawarra Estate has decided to, amid the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, close its Coonawarra cellar door as of Monday, March 23.

The announcement comes amid many other wine businesses closing up shop for the time being until the COVID-19 situation gets under control by global health networks.

In an email announcement of its cellar door closure, the winery said, “The decision is a precautionary measure aligned to government recommendations and not a result of any specific incidents”.

However, the winery added that while physical sales are going to halt, at least for the time being, online wine purchases are still on the table.

“Our online store is still open, where you can continue to access great pricing across our range and receive delivery direct to your door.”
