Graduates of this course are capable of performing as highly-competent professionals in viticulture and winemaking anywhere in the global wine industry. Students can study on campus, online or a combination of both.
Description: The Viticulture and Winemaking Major is a hands-on, industry-focused degree, based at Melbourne Polytechnic's Epping Campus, just 19km from the centre of Melbourne. Taking advantage of Melbourne Polytechnic's on-campus winery, laboratories and teaching facilities, as well as their nearby vineyards, students gain all the skills and knowledge required to be an innovator in Australia's modern wine industry. Students can study full-time (3 years) or part-time (6 years) and can study on-campus, online, or a combination of both.
