The databases used to compile the Wine Industry Directory are available electronically. The sample data contains four records. Please download the sample data to make sure the data format meets your needs before placing your order, then read the FAQ.

What databases are available?

There are five databases, Wine Producers, Suppliers, distributors, Organisations and Writers. The Wine Producers are also available for the individual Australian states or for New Zealand only.

How often is the information updated?

Every entry is updated yearly by contacting the wine producer and asking them to update their entry.

The database is also updated throughout the year as we become aware of changes.

What does the standard database include?

A complete, accurate and up-to-date listing of all Australian and New Zealand wine producers. Information includes names, addresses, phone and fax numbers, email addresses, names of key personnel, vineyard information and production information such as tonnes processed etc.

What format is the database in?

The database was generated using Filemaker Pro for the Macintosh and Windows PC. It can be supplied to you in a Microsoft Excel. If you require the file in another format then ask us and we will see what we can manage, if we have the software we will endeavour to provide it in the form that you are looking for.

Can I use the data with other software?

Yes, most programs that can handle this sort of data will allow you to import data from other formats.

Can I print labels with Microsoft Word using the database?

Yes, data can be imported into Word directly. Excel format files can also be used as data files for mail merging in Word.

Can you send a database only of wine producers that produce Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, etc.?

Yes, we tailor the database to your specific requirements. When you decide which database(s) you want we send you a list of available fields and you only select the information that you are looking for.

Can you send us pre-printed labels?

Yes, mailing labels cost the same as the databases for Australian and New Zealand wine producers.

Can you send the database by e-mail?

Yes.

Are there any conditions of sale?

Yes. The data and information provided is sold to the purchaser for the use of the purchaser only and must not be passed on or sold to any third party in any format. It must not be reproduced or published in part or whole by any means including electronically. This condition applies to all purchasers including publishers, direct marketing and mail list parties, and before the information will be released the purchaser must sign an agreement to this effect. The copyright remains the property of Winetitles. Payment is required before the information will be released
