Survey finds McLaren Vale brand stronger than ever
A recent survey by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu has found the McLaren Vale wine brand is performing strongly in Australia and overseas.

Alan Newton, rural industry and strategic management specialist, and ex head of the Crops and Rural Industry Divisions of the Commonwealth Department of Agriculture Fisheries & Forestry (DAFF), has been appointed as Independent Chairman of Wine Grape Growers Australia – the new national body representing the wine grape sector.

Australian grapegrowers should continue to focus on raising the quality of the fruit and wine, according to preliminary findings of a Monash University study of global wine market trends.
