$10,000 corporate governance scholarships
The Rural Industries R&D Corporation (RIRDC) has joined with the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) and 11 other R&D corporations (RDCs) to enable rural women to apply for scholarships to attend a corporate governance training course run by the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).

McGuigan Simeon Wines denies price determination
McGuigan Simeon Wines (MSW) has not accepted the determination of an independent expert appointed to resolve a dispute over 2006 grape prices. This is despite a stipulation in the contract between growers and MSW that the determination shall be binding.
