Large wineries drive financial performance
The key findings of the 2004 Annual Financial Benchmarking Survey, released at the end of fiscal 2004-05 by Deloitte and the Winemakers’ Federation of Australia, showed that whilst Australia’s large wineries have substantially trimmed their costs to achieve improved financial performance, small and medium sized wineries have not achieved similar cost savings. The study examines the financial performance of wineries located across Australia for the 2004 financial year, and provides the wine industry with real data upon which to benchmark results.

Insights into ageing UK consumer at Wine Marketing Conference
The biggest trend for Australian producers to be aware of in the UK is the ageing wine-drinking population. That’s according to Lulie Halstead, research director for UK-based Wine Intelligence and keynote speaker at the Fourth ANZ Australian Wine Marketing Conference being held in Adelaide, South Australia on 1-2 August.

Foster’s announces senior global executive team
