Memstar offers an answer for salt - the silent problem
Trials of a new electrodialysis technique introduced recently by wine membrane technology specialist, Memstar, have shown significant success in reducing wine salt levels.
Going the distance for a good cause
Some people derive pleasure from drinking superior-quality wines, others get untold enjoyment from watching a nail-biting soccer match. German winemaker Christoph Hammel, gets a kick out of combining both these passions, plus adding a feel-good factor, by producing Long Distance wines – all proceeds generated will be donated to the South African mentally handicapped national soccer team.
Zenith Wine Agencies to be launched in July
2008 will see the launch of a new player on the Australian wine distribution scene. Zenith Wine Agencies, a national licensed wholesaler will commence trading on 1 July 2008.
Italian wine company switches to PET bottles
SIPA of Veneto, Italy, a global leader of PET stretch blow moulding machines for the production of PET bottles have collaborated with Italian wine bottler S. Matteo, to be the first Italian producer to use PET wine bottles.
