Japan Wine Challenge – call for Australian entries

The 10th Japan Wine Challenge which will take place in July this year is calling for Australian wine entries. Under the continued Chairmanship of Steven Spurrier (consultant editor, Decanter Magazine) and with Co-Chair John Avery MW (past chairman of the Institute of Masters of Wine) the team is again looking forward to seeing some outstanding wines and results.

Japan Wine Challenge’s continued association with the Institute of Masters of Wine and the San Francisco International Wine Competition and team of expert judges (both international and local) ensures that all wines are given the optimum evaluation by a truly international and professional judging panel. In addition, they are pleased to announce this year a strategic alliances with Mundus Vini, Continental Europe’s biggest wine show.

Important dates

29 June 2007 — Last date for entry forms and payment to be returned to Japan Wine Challenge. 

6 July 2007 — Wines must reach the Yokohama Warehouse in Tokyo.

23–27 July 2007 — Japan Wine Challenge tasting by judges at Sheraton Miyako Hotel Tokyo.
