Unique boutique wines from the tranquil side of the Hunter

The Broke Fordwich area of the Hunter has long been known as the tranquil side of the Valley. On the 26 – 27th May the wineries, of this sub region of the Hunter Valley are coming together in the township of Broke to showcase their award winning wines, local produce, country style cuisine & country hospitality at the annual Spirit of the Vines event.

Over 50 wines will be available in the one convenient location with many award winning wines, including Winestate “Best Shiraz in NSW”, and Trophy and gold medal wines from recent shows.

Traditional varieties for sample & purchase will include Hunter style Shiraz and Chardonnay as well as some of the most acclaimed Semillons in Australia.

Other varieties available will be the lesser known but highly sought after Verdelho, Barbera, Merlot, Viognier, and Sangiovese, many of these only available from the Cellar Door providing an opportunity to stock the cellar with treats to have friends talking for years to come.

For those with a penchant for local produce Broke Fordwich is also a successful olive growing region. The Spirit of the Vines will include the latest olive oils, pickled olives & tapenades as well as other olive products such as soaps from the region.

Country style luncheons will be available at the venue and there will be live music to entertain.
