Winetitles is proud to announce the imminent release of the inaugural Australian Wine Grape Growers’ Directory, developed in consultation with Wine Grape Growers’ Australia (WGGA), the Winemakers’ Federation of Australia (WFA) and vineyard software developer, VineAccess.
Winetitles’ aim is to produce a transparent resource for all grapegrowers; a resource which will assist in future planting decisions; provide an avenue for winemakers to source fruit for their specifications; and set the groundwork to establish what may in time become a national database of grapegrower details.
The 2007 Australian Wine Grape Growers Directory contains an overview of the industry, comprehensive listing of growers, budget template, quick reference guide to producers of varieties by region, plus a buyers' guide, organisation listings and calendar of events.
Winetitles has for 25 years produced the award-winning Australian and New Zealand Wine Industry Directory, an invaluable tool for the wine industry, and in time, Winetitles believes the Growers’ Directory could grow to be held in the same esteem in Australia, and internationally.
Current Australian-based subscribers to Australian Viticulture will receive a free copy of the Directory with their May/June issue.
If you are not a subscriber to Australian Viticulture and you wish to order a copy of the Directory contact Winetitles on (08) 8292 0888 or email ">i The Directory is available for A$25.30 in Australia (all prices include GST and postage). Stocks are strictly limited!
In the May/June issue of Australian Viticulture, read the results from our reader survey on the use of vineyard machinery and see what growers are looking for in terms of machinery performance.
This issue’s varietal report looks at Cabernet Franc, introduced by Coonawarra-based Ian Hollick, managing director of Hollick Wines. Plus, in the first of Australian Viticulture’s interviews with Australia’s icon viticulturists, we speak with the Bowen family to commemorate Bowen Estate’s 30 years of premium Cabernet Sauvignon.
