Sirromet to launch new labels

Sirromet Wines of Queensland will launch two new label ranges at its sixth annual Wine and Food Festival on July 29–30.

The labels feature distinctive graphics and designs and will be unveiled at the festival on bottles of the newly-created ‘Sirromet’ and ‘820 Above’ ranges for medium-priced wines.

Wines available at the festival in the ‘Sirromet’ range will include a 2006 Verdelho and a 2005 Shiraz, while the ‘820 Above’ labels will be on bottles of a 2005 Pinot Gris, a 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot-Cabernet Franc blend, and a 2006 Rose.

The festival will be held at Sirromet’s headquarters and vineyards at Mount Cotton between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, and will feature live music from vocalist Christine Anu and former Hunters and Collectors frontman Mark Seymour.
