Winegrape growers have the chance again to hear what’s going on in their industry.
Murray Valley Winegrowers’ Inc is presenting another What’s Going On? conference, Friday June 30 at the Settlers in Mildura from 1 pm to 5 pm.
About 400 growers attended the event last year.
Topics this year include: · Winegrape supply & demand forecasts and the factors at play in restoring balance · Projects for regional solutions · Managing NOT to produce fruit · The options of getting by or getting out · Projects on the go to aid better planning and decision making
Murray Valley Winegrowers CEO Mike Stone says growers are desperate for answers to help them through the most difficult circumstances to ever confront the Australian wine industry.
“The conference is free but the information could be invaluable to many growers. It’s imperative growers attend in numbers to show support and concern for their fellow growers and wine industry as a whole.”
Flyers promoting the What’s Going On? conference have been sent to all winegrape growers in the Murray Valley, with the request that attendance be confirmed so that arrangements can be finalised.
