Grapegrowers - register your interest now for Weed Control Demonstration Days

WHEN it comes to making decisions about inputs to a grapegrowing business, most growers will automatically use a method they’re familiar with. It might be talking with a regular supplier, reading articles, collecting brochures or asking a few grower mates. However, it’s a rare occasion when all the relevant information is available at the same time and when different options can be compared side by side.

Australian Viticulture magazine has teamed up with the Ancient River vineyard in central Victoria to stage demonstration days where commercially available products and services will be demonstrated in a commercial vineyard.

The first of these events is the Australian Viticulture Weed Control Demonstration Days to be held on 7–8 September.

Demonstrations will include mechanical weeders, spray units and other related equipment from Machinery Maintenance, Interlink, Antonio Cararro, Guidolin Agrimac and Rural Farm Equipment.

Demonstrations will be carried out throughout both days with visitors being invited (subject to certain conditions!) to test drive those that are of interest.

So, if weed control is what you’re thinking about at the moment, make a date to visit the Demonstration Days, starting at 10am at Ancient River, 4815 Goulburn Valley Highway, Murchison East. And if you usually look to your grower mates for their advice, tell them about it and go as a group!
