Westend Estate honoured

Westend Estate has been honoured by the British public at the London Sunday Times Wine Club wine show held in London recently, presided over by world famous man of wine Mr Hugh Johnson.

The show is attended by thousands of people and showcases hundreds of wines from all around the world.

The public who attend the show taste the wines and then vote for the wine which they like the most.

Westend’s 3 Bridges Cabernet Sauvignon (2003 vintage) was nominated on two separate occasions as the Wine of the Show.

Bill Calabria, Managing Director of Westend Estate said “This wine has won many awards at formal wine shows judged by wine professionals. However, it is very pleasing when the public, for whom we make these wines, judge the wines as their favourite, because after all, although we make the wines to be of very high quality and having all of the traditional strengths and attributes of great wines, above all else, we make the wines for people to enjoy. I am delighted that Westend has been honoured in this way by the British wine buying public.”
