A taste of France in the heart of Coonawarra

Rymill Coonawarra is offering 40 people the opportunity to savour the differences between the wines of the Old World and the New in July.

In two sessions on Saturday 18 July, Rymill Coonawarra’s French winemaker, Sandrine Gimon, will lead a structured tasting of a range of French wines, analysing them together with the treasures of Rymill Coonawarra’s own cellar.

A visitor who attended last year found the experience immensely enjoyable.

"The format was brilliant, a really well thought out series of wines and wonderful matches of Coonawarra and France. Sandrine was gorgeous, very open with her knowledge and accommodating to all levels of understanding in the room,” said Tolmer.

These tastings will be accompanied by local cheeses, pate, and bread by local artisan baker Jason Van Leuven. The sessions cost $20 per person, and commence at 11am and 3pm on 18 July at Rymill Coonawarra’s Cellar Door (please note that both sessions sold out last year).

Phone Rymill Coonawarra Cellar Door on 08 8736 5001 to make a booking.
