The top wine tourism region ranked by average visitor spend came from Queensland again this week – Brisbane / North & South Burnet / Sunshine Coast areas which attracted sales of AU$91.29/visitor. Victoria followed with the Mornington Peninsula at AU$54.18 and South Australia’s Adelaide Hills with AU$38.22 per visitor.
The top ranked region, in terms of visitor numbers to each cellar door was NSW’s Hunter Valley with 3,888, South Australia’s Barossa with 2,729 and Western Australia’s South West with 1,632.
