Dal Zotto Wines has collaborated with Melbourne Racing Club for Melbourne’s finest outdoor Gourmet Cinema, which has returned after a sold-out run in 2016 with an extended season and menu.
Dal Zotto will be bringing their much-loved Prosecco to the people, along with other wines from their portfolio, at the main bar throughout Gourmet Cinema, with a special two for one glass of Prosecco offer taking place before intermission each night of the screenings.
The Dal Zotto family from Victoria’s King Valley has a very special talent — making deliciously drinkable wines that are the perfect match for warm Australian summers, picnics in the park and watching movies under the stars.
The Dal Zotto family are considered the embodiment of ‘Prosecco Life’, celebrating the beauty in every day, while living a life of pleasure and simple luxury, surrounded by family and friends.
Presented by South Yarra BMW, Gourmet Cinema brings food and film lovers together for a feast of the senses under the stars at Caulfield Racecourse.
Gourmet Cinema sessions run nightly from 6pm between March 2 and 12 with movies starting at about 8pm. A two-for-one Prosecco offer will take place during the 20-minute intermission during each nightly movie.
Dal Zotto was established in the King Valley in 1987 by Otto and Elena Dal Zotto. Italian born Otto hails from Valdobbiadene, a cool climate, wine-producing village near the Veneto region and the home of Prosecco.
The Dal Zotto family are the pioneers of Prosecco in Australia, having planted the variety in 1999. Their approach to winemaking combines the best of traditional Italian methods alongside more modern, ‘new-world’ techniques. In addition to its superb quality Prosecco, Dal Zotto produces a number of Italian varietals including Barbera, Sangiovese, Pinot Grigio and Arneis.
