The top wine tourism region ranked by average visitor spend came from Queensland this week – Brisbane / North & South Burnet / Sunshine Coast areas which attracted sales of NZ$107.34/visitor.

Victoria followed with the Mornington Peninsula at NZ$49.03 and Australia’s South West (WA’s Margaret River region and surrounds) NZ$42.64 per visitor.

The top ranked region, in terms of visitor numbers to each cellar door was NSW’s Hunter Valley with 3,716, South Australia’s Barossa with 2,694 and Australia’s South West with 982.
