September issue of Grapegrower & Winemaker out now

The September issue of the Grapegrower & Winemaker magazine is full of practical information to get growers and winemakers bursting into spring.

James Hook of McLaren Vale and regular columnist Ben Rose of the Yarra Valley both discuss ideas and options for spraying regimes to maximise efficiency, and David Braybrook and Trevor Wicks write on selecting vineyard chemicals for greater efficacy.

Ben Rose explores the cost per litre of commonly used chemicals and their target pests and James Hook looks at glyphosate. From pests to practical pumps, read about a pump to suit your purpose in both the vineyard and the winery.

In other winemaking news, Greg Howell talks about how to make sure your wines are not rejected during the Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation's export testing process.

Finally, Jeni Port talks with the AWBC about their marketing investment in international markets, and we speak with a number of Aussie SMEs about events that have, and haven't worked for them in the emerging Asian markets. Plus, if you've ever wondered what happens to your wine as you wave it from the winery, all is revealed in our Forum: Transport and the Wine Trade.
