2008 Coonawarra Cabernet Celebrations tickets on sale now

The Coonawarra Vignerons Association wish to advise that tickets for the 2008 Coonawarra Cabernet Celebrations 17–19 October 2008 are on sale now.

This will include a Retrospective Barrel Series Tasting, Master Class, Coonawarra Tutorial and the ever popular Cabernet Brunch and a new silent and live auction.

The program has changed this year to include a Retrospective Barrel Series Tasting on Friday night to start the Celebrations. Come and experience wines from the first (1996 vintage) and third (1998 vintage) Barrel Series Auctions and see how these amazing wines have matured over time.

We have something new for the novice wine lover as well, a Coonawarra Cabernet Tutorial sampling the different Cabernets of the Coonawarra region and learning how to taste the differences between them.

Sunday Brunch will now have a silent auction component along with a live auction encompassing unique and one-time-only Coonawarra-specific items. By popular demand, we have lengthened the event and will continue the festivities up until 3.30pm at DiGiorgio Family Wines.

Bookings can be made with payment by: Telephoning the Coonawarra Vignerons Office on 08 8737 2392

Downloading the ‘fax-back’ booking form available from www.coonawarra.org under the events section (please note that the booking form will not be available to download until September 15) Fax back the booking form to 08 8737 2433

In person to the Coonawarra Vignerons office at 69 Church St Penola.

This year there are more than 40 events being held over the 3 day Celebration and for a copy of the Program of Events and/or the Auction Catalogue please call into the Penola Coonawarra Visitor Information Centre or visit www.coonawarra.org to download the events program.
