Clean sweep at the PICA Awards

Premium wine label printer, Studio Labels has back to back medal wins at the recent South Australian PICA Awards. For the third year running Studio Labels has been awarded the Gold medal for Flexographic Printing at the Printing Industries Craftsmanship Awards. In fact, this year they took a clean sweep and were awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze in the same category.

With an additional two Silver medals in the Roll-fed categories and following hot on the heels of their medal winning streak at the National Print Awards in May, Studio Labels has gained a reputation for premium, innovative label printing.

Awarded the Gold medal for Creastview’s ‘Old Horndale’ wine label, Studio Labels’ General Manger, David McCloud is immensely proud of the printing team who are achieving outstanding success.

“Our highly skilled team continue to demonstrate their commitment to delivering fine definition, high resolution flexographic printing”, he said.

The other medals in the Flexographic Printing category to be awarded to Studio Labels included the Silver medal for the ‘Master Series’ (United Cellars) label and the Bronze medal for the ‘Giant Steps’ label.

The Serafino ‘Reserve’ label and the Woodstock ‘Fortified’ labels were awarded Silver medals in their respective categories.
