Quick stats update from CellarDoorMETRICS®

South Australia’s Limestone Coast has topped the Australian & New Zealand Regional Ranking charts again this week, with each visitor spending $49.08 (sixteen cents short of last week’s four weekly rolling average).

The Victorian tourism region, Grampians/Pyrenees/Ballarat, pipped South Australia’s Adelaide Hills at the post, attracting $47.33 and $43.66 per visitor, respectively.

New Zealand’s Hawkes Bay region entered the charts for the first time, ranking 12th, according to average visitor spend.

Highest visitor numbers were achieved in New South Wales’ Hunter Valley, with cellar doors in this region attracting 3504 visitors each, up by 90 visitors from last week.

South Australia’s Barossa followed, attracting 2000 visitors, and Adelaide Hills ranked third with 587 visitors per cellar door.
