The tenth anniversary of the National Cool Climate Wine Show (NCCWS) is off to a running start as Bathurst Tourist Information Centre has already received a number of entries shortly after opening the competition three weeks ago.
Entries close September 12, 2008 and the NCCWS anticipates the number of this year's entries will increase from 2007 by over 200 to bring them close to 1000 entries. This is a strong indication that cool climate wine growers continue to support the Show, raising the level of competition as the NCCWS has done annually.
Entries are anticipated from cool climate growers nation-wide, including regions in South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and NSW.
The NCCWS is to held at the Bathurst Showgrounds over 14–16 October 2008, closing with a $25 per ticket public wine-tasting on 17 October.
Details regarding how to enter your cool climate wines can be found on the Show's website: www.coolwines.com.au.
Exhibits need to be delivered by 30 September 2008 to:
