South Australian company launches accredited dealer program on global stage

Drought, climate change, salinity and resultant increased pressure on water resources have focused Australia’s and the world’s attention on water management.

As Government’s globally are reacting to these pressures, through both funding and legislative measures, many companies are positioning themselves to take advantage of this. There is a South Australian company that has been leading the field in delivering efficient water management solutions in irrigated agriculture for 17 years.

Sentek Sensor Technologies, a proud South Australian company born in the Riverland, is a world leader in soil moisture monitoring technology, with a global footprint in 35 countries. Through scientifically proven capacitance technology, Sentek offers growers decision support systems that increase water and fertilizer efficiency. This in turn delivers to the community a sustainable commercial and environmentally responsible outcome.

Growers are dealing with water scarcity on a regular basis, and as a result, have higher expectations in terms of “solutions” being delivered to the market to address this issue. These higher expectations are being met and delivered by the Sentek Sensor Technologies’ Accredited Dealer Program.

Growers can feel confident when they engage a Sentek Accredited Dealer that they are dealing with a business that has been identified as a provider of quality products and quality advice and that can deliver a comprehensive water management solution.

The Accredited Dealer Program will ensure that government funding to address on-farm water efficiency issues will be supported by highly qualified businesses, that will allow end users to benefit from this investment, whilst delivering a sustainable, ecologically sound environment.

The Accredited Dealer Program will ensure that the entire range of Sentek water management solutions will be delivered through a network of highly qualified distributors. Sentek’s range of proven soil moisture and fertilizer management solutions continue to provide savings to growers, across a wide range of crop types.

Sentek has decided to launch the program in the heart of the Riverland, where its first distributor AgriExchange is based and is also the home of many irrigators managing their way through this drought, who already use Sentek technology.

Sentek’s Accredited Dealer Program is being launched on Wednesday 13 August 2008 at the Renmark Hotel. Prior to the launch, AgriExchange will present to local growers how the integration of irrigation, fertilizer and salinity management offers innovative solutions to irrigators faced with drought and increasing input costs. This water wise workshop commences at 11am, with the Sentek Accredited Dealer Program being officially launched at 12.30pm. Beverages and refreshments follow at 1.30pm.
