Wine Australia (AWBC) will be running a workshop in Adelaide for wineries interested in, or currently, exporting to Canada and the USA.
Planned as an interactive two hour session, this free workshop forum invites participants to ask anything and everything they want to know about two of Australia's key export markets. No PowerPoint presentations will be made, just questions direct from the audience with discussion and answers led by AWBC general manager, Market Development, Paul Henry, and new Wine Australia appointments in North America, Mark Davidson and Suzy Barros. They will be joined by manager Information and Analysis Lawrie Stanford and manager Export Compliance, Jessica Pater. Travelex senior client manager, Sam Fitzpatrick will also be in attendance to answer enquiries on foreign exchange issues, currency hedging and risk management.
If you have questions on labelling laws, export requirements, market opportunities or how to leverage your export success through Wine Australia’s market programs, please REGISTER YOUR DETAILS and provide First Name, Last Name, Company, Case Volumes and indicate if you are currently exporting to either of these markets.
The North America Workshop will take place in Adelaide on Monday 23 June between 3–5pm, at the National Wine Centre (Vines Room). There will be an informal BYO tasting between 5–6 pm with attendees invited to bring a bottle to share. Please note availability is limited and seats will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
