Getting the customers in through the door (UK)

A masterclass aimed at UK producers who wish to learn how to increase visitor numbers and sales through their cellar door. ‘Wine tourism: optimising your cellar door sales’ is to be hosted by Prof. Steve Charters MW at Denbies Wine Estate, Dorking in January.

The morning session will focus on:

•         The benefits of wine tourism

•         Beyond tours and tastings: options to attract visitors and increase sales

•         Maximising consumer marketing opportunities

•         Skills for successful wine tourism and cellar doors sales

•         Cases studies of best (and worst!) practice in wine tourism.

The afternoon session will be a workshop to enable participants to identify their own business’s needs.   In order to target training requirements, Steve Charters will send a questionnaire to participants before the Masterclass.
