Australian entries eagerly awaited for the 2008 Concours Mondial de Bruxelles

The organisers of the 15th edition of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles invite Australian wine producers to participate at this year’s event which will take place from 18–20 April 2008 in Bordeaux, France.

Last year 5732 samples from 47 different countries, including Australia were adjudicated. Noteworthy is that at this wine competition only 30% of the total wines may be awarded medals. Despite only 75 samples from Australia, 51% of these were rewarded with medals : 9 Great Gold, 7 Gold and 28 Silver. A wonderful achievement for Australian wines!

Let us remember the strong points that permit the Concours Mondial to set itself as a recommendation in the wine producing world:

• A solid organisation acclaimed by the professional network. • A maximum of discipline, efficiency and fairness in the awarding of the Medals through a strict process of sensory evaluation. • A unique position in Europe and in the key market of the Benelux. • A wide range of promotional tools and targeted public relations activities so as to offer the best visibility to the winners: the possibility of announcing the reward to the international press, a diploma, superior quality adhesive medals, VIP events and official prize giving ceremonies for trophies such as the ‘Best Wine’. • Important media coverage, multilingual and international.

Do not miss this opportunity to be part of the 2008 winners of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles!
