An invitation is extended to all wine producers in Australia to submit their wines for judging in the 2nd edition of the Women and Wines of the World International Competition. This event will take place on 4–5 April 2008 in the principality of Monaco, following its success with the inaugural contest in 2007 held in the exclusive Hotel de Paris in Monte Carlo.
The competition is open to all wines with a specified geographical origin from all countries. The wines will be judge exclusively by women from around the world professionally involved in wine.
The samples will be tasted in accordance with the rules and regulations of the OIV and double gold, gold and silver medals will be awarded.
Australian Sue van Wyk, a Cape Wine Master, will again be representing the Southern Hemisphere on the judging panel.
